During our hair styling sessions, we would normally chat about "guys" stuff like happening places to go for drinks where there are pretty girls and ladies etc.. (LOL!); sometimes we will talk about the latest online games and discuss about what stocks and shares to buy. However, this time our conversation switched to an even more interesting topic on a ghostly spill-chilling experience that had happened to him a few weeks back.
My hairstylist is a handsome young man and often have friends asking him to go for drinks and dinners. This particular night, the 4 of them (2 guys and 2 girls), have decided to hit a popular karaoke center somewhere in Kuala Lumpur to belt out their favorite songs and enjoy their night away.
While inside the karaoke room, my hairstylist friend had initially noticed that the temperature in that room was particularly cold and requested the captain of the karaoke center to help turn up the temperature. The captain obliged and went to adjust the temperature as requested and left the 4 friends to continue enjoying their sessions. However, the room still remained icy cold.
They called up the captain again and he deduced that the air-conditioning thermostat might have be faulty and since all the other rooms in the popular karaoke center had been fully booked for the night, they had to be contend with the room that is available for them. Not letting the air-conditioning ruin their night, and knowing that after a few shots of whisky, they would be warmed up and singing out to their heart's contend instead of focusing on the coldness, they ignored the little problem and went back to their entertaining session.
They really had a lot of fun singing for the next 3-4 hours and before they knew it, party time was over and it was time to leave. They buzzed the captain and requested for the bill and what happened next would be the most unforgettable part of their life.
The captain brought in the bill and to as they were about to pay, they noticed that the receipt billing was for 5 person instead of the 4 friends that were in the karaoke room. They complained to the captain and the captain argued that there were 5 person in the room initially when they arrived and there were also 5 person in the room when he had came in to adjust the temperature of the room.
Thinking that it may be the karaoke center's way of scamming people to pay more so that they can earn more, they angrily demanded an explanation from the manager of the karaoke center. The manager was very polite and confirmed that they were 5 persons in the room and would be more than willing to prove to them via a camera footage of the room where they were belting out their favorite tune.
The 4 friends were brought to the security room and to their utter horror, there was a figure of a 5th person (a girl) sitting motionlessly at the corner of the room wearing a white dress. The captain insisted that they had brought the "friend" along and she had left slightly before they had requested for the bill as he saw her leave the room.
The 4 friends were in were utter disbelief, they quickly paid the bill and left, swearing never to return to the same karaoke center again. They were just so grateful that the spirit had not followed them back home!
But then again, who was that extra "person"? The 4 friends knew that there were only 4 of them that day and neither no one had entered the room nor have they invited any of their friends to the karaoke center. Was the coldness of the room related to the presence of the unnatural entity? Did the girl died in the same building previously and her trapped spirit now wanders through the rooms of the karaoke center?
